It was 31 December back in 1962. Four young musicians named John, Poul, George and Richard a.k.a. 'Ringo' left their hometown of Liverpool for London on their way to the most important appointment of their careers: their first audition at a record company. On 1 June, in a battered minibus, visibly scarred from a night of partying, the four arrived in the UK capital, unaware that within a few years they would be able to establish themselves among the world's most popular bands. The story goes that the fantastic Beatles did not pass that famous audition, but still managed to become one of the most influential bands in music history. It was precisely the two English cities, Liverpool and London, that determined the explosion of'Beatlesmania', indelibly influencing the band's life. That's why today we want to propose to all fans of the'fab four' an itinerary to discover the most important places that every true Lennon&Co. fan should visit at least once in his life.
